Steps to Becoming a Follower of Jesus
Ever since I was little, I was taught that to become a Christian you just had to follow three simple steps. They are called the ABC's of Christianity. The first step is to admit. You first have to admit that you made some mistakes in your life; and you didn't always do the right thing. The second thing is to believe. You have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross and rose from the dead to forgive you of your sins. Then you just have to confess. You simply have to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you want to Him to lead your life; which means that you want to follow him. And you can say all of this by praying this little prayer down below.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross and rise from the dead for my sins. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is Lord. I'm sorry for all of my sins and I ask that you forgive me. I realize that I can't live my life on my own, and I ask that you take control and lead my life according to your will.
