Jesus Is BLACK!

Hello friends! I initially wasn't planning on writing about this but after seeing some thinly veiled racism I decided that this needed to be talked about. Obviously ULTIMATELY the race of Jesus doesn't matter, but because people refuse to acknowledge this about Him, this needs to be said. Jesus is BLACK! And the bible makes REPEATED references to Him being Black, and time and time again people refuse to acknowledge what the color BRONZE is. So if you have questions about that, I suggest that one googles the color bronze or simply catches a glance at a penny lying around and you'll notice that it is BROWN. Metallic bronze (which is probably what they are referencing in the bible) is even darker than the shade of bronze that we see in pennies and other things today. But if you need scripture to see this truth I'll run up some verses for you.

“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: “This is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes blaze like fire, whose feet shine like polished brass.

Revelation 2:18 GNTD

His body shone like a jewel. His face was as bright as a flash of lightning, and his eyes blazed like fire. His arms and legs shone like polished bronze, and his voice sounded like the roar of a great crowd.

Daniel 10:6 GNTD

He took me closer, and I saw a man who shone like bronze. He was holding a linen tape measure and a measuring rod and was standing by a gateway.

Ezekiel 40:3 GNTD

his feet shone like brass that has been refined and polished, and his voice sounded like a roaring waterfall.

Revelation 1:15 GNTD

If this is not enough scripture to show you that Jesus is Black, Jesus's hair is described to look like wool. And this is not the verse in Revelation where His hair is described to be white like wool; but in Daniel when it is described to be wool.

While I was looking, thrones were put in place. One who had been living forever sat down on one of the thrones. His clothes were white as snow, and his hair was like pure wool. His throne, mounted on fiery wheels, was blazing with fire,

Daniel 7:9 GNTD

You can even see that Jesus is Black when His family had to hide out in Egypt to run away from Herod because he was trying to kill him. To be able to successfully hide someplace one would have to blend in with the people. Egyptians are Africans. And Africans are Black.

After they had left, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph and said, “Herod will be looking for the child in order to kill him. So get up, take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you to leave.” Joseph got up, took the child and his mother, and left during the night for Egypt, where he stayed until Herod died. This was done to make come true what the Lord had said through the prophet, “I called my Son out of Egypt.”

Matthew 2:13‭-‬15 GNTD

And if you would like FURTHER proof of Jesus's Blackness, Jesus comes from the line of David. David had a son named Solomon, and BOTH Solomon AND his wife are described as being Black or Bronze in skin tone.

His face is bronzed and smooth; his hair is wavy, black as a raven.

Song of Songs 5:11 GNTD

“I am black but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.

Song of Solomon 1:5 NASB1995

So all of this goes to show that Jesus Christ is Blackity Black okay. And if the church can make a strong effort to erase this side of Jesus, then they can make that same effort on speaking the truth about who He is. Black is beautiful and Black lives matter and Jesus Christ of Nazareth is Black. So if you ever see a racist that claims that they are a Christian, just remind them that the God that they serve is Black, and sit back and watch them melt into the floor lol. Anyways until next time kiddos! And remember it's not cool to be racist!!!
