Hi friends! For a couple of months in my walk with God, I wanted to find some Christian voices to surround myself with online. I wanted to see if there were others out there who were echoing what the spirit was telling me, in online spaces. To be honest, I felt really alone; and to be quite frank, I felt vulnerable too, and I wanted to have some validation from others that what I heard from God was true. There are VERY few voices out there that are telling people the truth that it is not a sin to be gay or trans. And even fewer voices who are speaking with absolute certainty. So many who speak on the subject are shakey and seem not to have a firm foundation in the Lord, and that was really bothersome for me at the time. I wanted to see someone else who was speaking like me. Somebody else with more experience who had a boldness in their heart like I do, so I wouldn't feel so alone. So I wouldn't feel like I'm breaking these barriers by myself. So I would have someone to look up to and take guidance from.
But what I didn't understand during all of this is that God is that person for me! He is my foundation and He is my teacher! I don't need a human person to validate my calling because a human didn't put that calling in me! A human is not going to be there for me in any and all ways whenever I need them to be, because they are not who I should call on in times of trouble! Anything that you will need in your journey, God will provide for you. And if He hasn't given you a human being to support you, teach you, or accept you it's because you already have those things within Him. Look no further! Because He already has all that you would need for Him to provide!
So to those of us who have big dreams. Huge callings with visions so big that no one can even begin to comprehend them, I want to let y'all know not to give up! Don't let these people with covers over their eyes stop you from seeing what you can see clearly! Don't let them try to drag you down because they don't want to take the blindfolds off! What God has for you is for you! And He that begun a good work in you will be FAITHFUL to complete it !!! So if you are looking towards man to find a teacher, or guider, or supporter, just know that you have all of those things in God! And if you don't have those supports from human beings, then maybe God is saying that you don't need it! Because He is those things for you! Just keep going and don't stop following your dream for people who don't sleep!!
But as for you, Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything, and what he teaches is true, not false. Obey the Spirit's teaching, then, and remain in union with Christ.
